Pop star Selena Gomez recently replied to a TikTok video talking about how she looks. This has started new talks about celebrity privacy and body image. The video was made over a year ago by content creator Marissa the PA, who looks at how celebs’ faces change over time.
In her video, Marissa talked about how Selena’s looks changed over the years. She said Selena has health problems, like lupus, which can change how she looks.

Marissa didn’t want to guess why Selena looks different because of these health issues. But, this video was made a year ago, and Selena only saw it now. When Selena found the video, she got upset and wrote,
“Honestly I hate this. I was on stripes because of flare-up. I have Botox. That’s it. Leave me alone”
This comment made lots of people argue online. Some fans stood up for Selena, saying she shouldn’t have to deal with people talking about how she looks, especially because of her health problems. Others asked why she answered to an old video and didn’t believe what she said about cosmetic stuff.

After Selena’s comment, Marissa said sorry. She said she never wanted to upset anyone and that she stopped making these kinds of videos because they can hurt celebrities.
When she said sorry, Marissa wrote, “You don’t owe it to anyone to tell us why you don’t look the same as you did when you were younger.”
Selena accepted the sorry but said she sometimes feels sad about people always talking about how she looks.
She answered Marissa’s sorry by saying, “I love you. It’s not about you. I just get sad sometimes.”
